Agfa WEB1000™

Enterprise Level Image and Information Distribution

The IMPAX WEB1000 DICOM Web Server provides PACS administrators, radiologists, and other clinicians with on-demand, cost-effective access to images and reports throughout your enterprise. Patient data can be accessed via a web browser from virtually any location – from any department, within your office, or while at home.

With built in electronic safeguards, the server can be accessed within or beyond hospital firewalls, while preserving patient confidentiality. The simple, user configurable GUI, coupled with software components that offer high speed acquisition, makes the WEB1000 ideal for remote access.

The IMPAX WEB1000 adds power and flexibility to your enterprise network providing remote, rapid, secure, clinical review from virtually any location.

Broadening the Reach of IMPAX via the World Wide Web

The IMPAX WEB1000 allows for an efficient, low cost solution to your need for remote review and distribution of patient data. Agfa’s made it simple: your modality or PACS pushes images and reports to the WEB1000 server. The server stores the images in lossless or lossy format. Authorized users pull them from anywhere via the world wide web.

The user interface leverages our intuitive IMPAX GUI and frames it in your choice of web browser, i.e., Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator®. The improvements in your workflow are found in the ability to use the system as you would your PACS. The tools for markup, geometry, and annotation, multiple display formats are all here. On-line help and icon descriptions are readily available to facilitate an easier learning process.

WEB1000 offers many features that complement your need for efficient workflow. Similar to most clinical and several diagnostic review stations, the WEB1000 allows you to select studies and view images in ways other than how they were acquired and processed:

Query Wizards provide convenient shortcuts

Folders-based view of studies and associated priors

Select and view from image thumbnails

Dynamic and preset window/level adjustments

Zoom, pan, magnify, rotate, markup, invert tools

Vary display formats

Cine Viewer

Additional features include the ability to view reports and images side by side using the WEB1000’s split screen. Each split screen has its own toolbar to also allow for independent manipulation of patient studies and relevant priors.

Each of these features can be presented to meet the needs of individual users and their preferences. Change the columns of information available to you in the study folder. Create your own main toolbar and modality specific toolbars. Your unique logon and password activates your preferences.
